Jane and the staff at Athena Vertical Dance have created an environment that makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. It's clear that all the instructors have years of experience, because they're able to teach all the choreography and tricks multiple ways, so even if you don't understand one explanation, they'll keep working with you until you do! It is a truly unique studio that makes even the newest students feel at home. Cannot recommend Jane and her team enough!

I've been coming here for a year and a half and I can't say enough good things about this studio. The staff is super knowledgeable and inclusive and makes everyone feel welcome. They push you, while also making things safe and manageable. I've learned so much and gained so much confidence and strength in the time that I've been coming. Jane has created a wonderful environment for people to be able to express themselves at Athena. Highly recommend.

I can't overstate what a wonderful place this is. I have felt welcomed from day one, and have learned so much in the most body-positive, inclusive, and empowered community I've ever seen. I love to learn new things, and it's really clear how much these guys love to teach and teach well. They're safety conscious while pushing us to challenge ourselves. I would and do recommend them to anyone considering learning an aerial art.

Athena Vertical Dance has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, especially for beginners. My first Beginner Pole Class with Jane was fantastic and everyone in the room was extremely supportive of one another. The beginner moves taught were at exactly the right difficulty in my opinion. I will absolutely be going back to learn more and to progress my skills in pole dancing.
