The Ballet Theatre School is a dance school located in Edgewood, Washington, USA. We offer a wide variety of dance classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. Our mission is to provide the highest quality dance education for our students, and to promote a lifelong appreciation of the art of dance.

Our Story

The Ballet Theatre School was founded in 2001 by two professional dancers, Maria and Paul Smith. After years of performing in various dance companies across the United States, they decided to open their own school to pass on their knowledge and passion for dance to the next generation.

The Ballet Theatre School has grown over the years, and now offers classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer private lessons and workshops for those looking to refine their skills or explore new styles.

Our Instructors

At The Ballet Theatre School, we believe that our instructors are the heart of our school. All of our teachers are experienced and passionate about dance, and are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals. Our instructors have a wide range of experience, from professional dancers to former competitive dancers and teachers.

Our Facility

The Ballet Theatre School is located in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility in Edgewood, Washington. Our facility is equipped with two large studios, a changing room, and a lounge area. We also have a variety of props and equipment to help our students learn and perfect their skills.

Our Community

At The Ballet Theatre School, we believe in fostering a strong sense of community. We strive to create an environment where our students can learn, grow, and make lifelong friends. We host a variety of events throughout the year, such as recitals, competitions, and workshops. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students, such as our annual Nutcracker performance.

Schedule and Contacts

The Ballet Theatre School is open Monday-Friday from 4-8 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
