The Dance Conservatory of Southern Minnesota (DCSM) is a premier dance school located in Mankato, Minnesota. Founded in 2008, DCSM offers a wide range of dance classes and workshops for all ages and skill levels. From beginner to advanced, our instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your highest potential in dance.

Our Mission

The mission of DCSM is to provide the highest quality dance instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. We strive to create an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for each individual’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Our goal is to inspire each student to reach their full potential in the art of dance.

Our Classes

DCSM offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, and Ballroom. We also offer specialty classes such as Latin, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics. We also offer workshops and master classes from guest teachers throughout the year.

Our Instructors

At DCSM, our instructors are dedicated to helping each student reach their highest potential. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in a variety of styles. They are passionate about teaching and strive to create a fun and positive learning environment.

Our Facility

DCSM is located in Mankato, Minnesota. Our facility is equipped with two large dance studios, one with a sprung floor and the other with a marley floor. We also have a lounge area for students to relax and socialize. Our facility is also equipped with a full-service snack bar and a pro-shop for dance apparel and accessories.
