Ms. LeMaster’s School of Dance from Rockford is one of the premier dance schools in the United States. Founded by Ms. LeMaster in 1993, the school has grown to become a leader in the development of dance instruction in the Midwest.

History

Ms. LeMaster began her dance career in the early 1980s, when she was a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance, and was soon performing professionally. After graduating, she moved to Rockford and opened her own dance school, which quickly became one of the most respected in the area.

Programs and Classes

At Ms. LeMaster’s School of Dance, students can take classes in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern. The school also offers classes in ballroom dancing, and is the only school in the area to offer classes in Latin dance.

In addition to classes, the school also offers a variety of programs for students of all ages and abilities. The school’s popular summer dance camp offers a unique and fun experience for children and teens. The school also offers a competitive dance team for those who wish to compete in regional and national competitions.
