Los Gatos Ballet is a ballet school located in the city of Los Gatos, California, United States of America. Founded by artistic director and principal teacher, Susan T. Soares, Los Gatos Ballet is dedicated to providing students of all ages and levels with a comprehensive ballet education that combines technique, artistry, and performance.

Los Gatos Ballet Classes

Los Gatos Ballet offers a variety of classes for children and adults. Classes include Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Contemporary, Pilates, and Character Dance. All classes are taught by experienced and knowledgeable teachers who are passionate about the art of ballet.

Creative Movement

The Creative Movement class is designed for children ages 4-6 and focuses on the fundamentals of ballet, such as body posture, coordination, and musicality. Through the use of games and songs, children are introduced to the basics of ballet technique and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Pre-Ballet

The Pre-Ballet class is designed for children ages 7-10 and is an introduction to the fundamentals of ballet technique. Through the use of exercises, games, and stories, children are introduced to the basics of ballet and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Ballet

The Ballet class is designed for children ages 8-18 and is a comprehensive introduction to the world of ballet. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of ballet technique and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Pointe

The Pointe class is designed for students ages 11 and up and focuses on the fundamentals of pointe technique. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of pointe technique and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Variations

The Variations class is designed for students ages 13 and up and focuses on the fundamentals of classical variations. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of classical variations and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Contemporary

The Contemporary class is designed for students ages 13 and up and focuses on the fundamentals of contemporary ballet technique. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of contemporary ballet technique and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Pilates

The Pilates class is designed for students of all ages and focuses on the fundamentals of Pilates. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of Pilates and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Character Dance

The Character Dance class is designed for students of all ages and focuses on the fundamentals of character dance. Through the use of exercises, combinations, and variations, students learn the fundamentals of character dance and gain an appreciation for the art form.

Los Gatos Ballet Facilities

Los Gatos Ballet offers a variety of facilities for its students. The school features two large studios, a waiting room, and a changing room. The school also offers a variety of props and equipment for its classes, such as barres, chairs, and mats.

Los Gatos Ballet Performance Opportunities

Los Gatos Ballet offers a variety of performance opportunities for its students. The school offers two annual performances, which feature students from all levels of classes. These performances are open to the public and are free of charge.
