Redwood Raks World Dance Collective is an arts organization based in Arcata, California. Founded in 2008, Redwood Raks has been dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to the community and to the world.

Our Mission

At Redwood Raks, our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for people of all ages and skill levels to learn, practice, and perform a variety of dance styles, from traditional to contemporary. We strive to foster a strong sense of community and connection through dance, and to promote the appreciation of different cultures and traditions.

Our Programs

Redwood Raks offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include:

Our Instructors

At Redwood Raks, our instructors are highly trained and experienced professionals who are passionate about sharing their love of dance with others. Our instructors are dedicated to providing a positive learning environment, and to helping each student reach their full potential.

Our Facilities

Redwood Raks is located in the heart of Arcata, in a spacious and well-equipped facility. We have three large dance studios, as well as a lounge area and a retail space. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems for classes and events.
