LTRC Ballet (Lutherville Timonium Recreation Council) is a ballet school located in Timonium, Maryland. Founded in 1991, the school has been providing quality ballet instruction for over 25 years. LTRC Ballet is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for students of all ages and abilities to learn and grow.

The school offers a variety of classes for both children and adults, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The classes focus on ballet technique, pointe, partnering, variations, and more. LTRC Ballet also offers private lessons for those who wish to work on specific skills or goals.

In addition to classes, LTRC Ballet also offers an array of performance opportunities for its students. The school hosts an annual recital, as well as occasional performances at local venues.

Instructors

LTRC Ballet is proud to have a team of experienced and qualified instructors. Our teachers have extensive ballet training and experience, and are dedicated to helping each student reach their goals.

Teresa M. Smith

Teresa M. Smith is the Director of LTRC Ballet and has been teaching at the school since its founding in 1991. She is a certified teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and has been teaching ballet for over 40 years.

Valerie B. Johnson

Valerie B. Johnson is a certified teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and has been teaching at LTRC Ballet since 1999. She is passionate about helping her students reach their full potential and is committed to providing a safe and positive learning environment.

Karen L. Williams

Karen L. Williams is a certified teacher of the American Ballet Theatre and has been teaching at LTRC Ballet since 2000. She specializes in partnering and variation classes and is committed to helping her students achieve their goals.

Facilities

LTRC Ballet is located in Timonium, Maryland and is housed in a state-of-the-art facility. The school features two spacious studios, as well as a changing area and a lobby. The facility is equipped with the latest ballet equipment, including barres, mirrors, and a sprung floor.

Schedule & Contacts

Classes are offered on Tuesday and Saturday. Private lessons are available by appointment.
