The Steffi Nossen School of Dance & Center for Movement is located in White Plains, New York and is a premier dance school for all ages and levels of experience. Our goal is to inspire our students to explore the art of dance and movement through a variety of classes, workshops, and performances.

The school was founded in 1948 by Steffi Nossen, a pioneer in modern dance. Her vision was to create a place where people could come together to learn, explore, and express themselves through dance.

Our Mission

At the Steffi Nossen School of Dance & Center for Movement, we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and creative environment for all students. We believe that dance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability. We strive to provide an education that is both challenging and rewarding.

Our Classes

We offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theater. We also offer classes in Yoga, Pilates, and Creative Movement.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are experienced professionals who have a passion for dance and movement. Our faculty members come from a variety of backgrounds and have extensive experience in teaching, performing, and choreographing.

Our Facilities

The Steffi Nossen School of Dance & Center for Movement is located in a beautiful, spacious facility in White Plains, New York. Our facility includes six spacious studios, a dance store, and a comfortable lounge area.

Our Performances

We offer a variety of performances throughout the year. Our performances range from recitals and showcases to full-length productions. We also offer workshops and master classes for our students.

Schedule and Contacts

Our school is open Monday through Friday from 9:30AM-7:30PM and Saturday from 8AM-5PM. We are closed on Sundays.
