Morehead Dance Academy is a dance company located in the city of Morehead, Kentucky. We offer a wide variety of dance classes and services to our students and clients. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of dance instruction and to create an environment that is both fun and educational. We strive to inspire our students to reach their full potential in dance and to foster a sense of community within our school.

History

Morehead Dance Academy was founded in 2001 by two professional dancers, Jane and John Morehead. Jane and John have been teaching dance for over 25 years and have been involved in the dance industry for even longer. Jane and John are passionate about providing quality dance instruction and creating a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for their students.

Classes

Morehead Dance Academy offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and workshops. Our classes are taught by experienced and certified instructors who are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals.

Performances

Morehead Dance Academy also offers performance opportunities for our students. We have an annual recital that features our students in a showcase of their hard work and dedication. We also offer workshops and master classes that allow our students to work with professional dancers and choreographers.

Events

Morehead Dance Academy also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We have an annual holiday show that features our students performing holiday-themed dances. We also host special events such as open houses, fundraisers, and workshops.
