My whole family has taken dance class at Lisa Zahiya’s studio in downtown asheville. I have watched my twelve year old daughter develop self Confidence and a deeper sense of rhythm and skill through hip hop classes with Lisa. My wife and I love taking her classes as well. She is an engaging and fun teacher to all levels. A must do in Asheville for a drop in class or ongoing. I also deeply appreciate Lisa’s commitment to the community through all that she offers. What a gem!

I’m in love. Taking a bellydance class has been on my bucket list for forever, and my husband me gave the Level 1 series as a birthday gift — best present ever!! I’ve been thrilled to find Lisa wonderfully approachable, funny, and generous in her teaching. She clearly loves her students, and offers tremendous acceptance and encouragement for evey body. Class is awesome, the instructional videos available to students are terrific, I think I just found my new Thing.

I love the classes. They boost my spirits! Lisa and Marissa are simply Terriffic! Dancing is like breathing for me. I derive enjoyment in participating with the young women in the classes. On Saturday, October 18, 2019 I brought a group of 9 girls to the studio for a Hip Hop Dance class as part of a Bachelorette Weekend! We had the most amazing time, everyone had a blast, worked up a sweat, and danced their butts off! The instructor, Lisa was so kind, helpful, and fun! I would recommend this studio to anyone looking to have a blast and work up a great sweat! Go check it out!
