I love this school! The classes are great, teachers are amazing. I also really appreciate that they are making classes affordable for the community while also taking precautions to keep staff and students safe by staying virtual for the rest of 2020. I have learned a lot from them and am always inspired and motivated to keep dancing because of their energy and their spirit.

The studio was very clean, and the floors were so beautiful! The front desk staff member was friendly and attentive. The instructor (Yaminah – Dancehall class) was amazing! I absolutely love her energy! The adult class schedule is very convenient, with a nice variety of classes. The price is PERFECT! Very affordable, compared to others in the area for a 1.5 hour class!

From the moment that I walked through the door, I felt welcomed by the staff. I was greeted and checked in promptly. I was extremely excited to be there for Youssouf's class as he is my favorite African dance teacher. The drummers were on fire, and the atmosphere was electric. I took Orixa dance with Tony Yemaya, who was so patient, warm, and encouraging. He welcomed questions and broke the steps down for us so we could do the choreography with confidence by the end of class. Most importantly, I appreciated that he taught us about the energy and significance of Oyá so we could better embody her through movement. 💙
