My kids have been taking music lessons at the Brooklyn Music School for over a year now, and have spent some time in their summer camp. It is a pretty "rustic" (i.e. old and run down) building, but it has a lot of soul. You can feel they are working on low budget with an emphasis on serving their community, and this does not affect their quality – on the contrary – we've had really good music teachers there (tried guitar and piano) and have really enjoyed our interaction with them.

My daughter had been coming for many years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My child had truly grown as an individual as a performer because of their guidence, and the family feeling just cannot be replicated anywhere else. There are class for all levels and very affordable. After 7 years, I plan on keeping my child here through her teen years where she can then become a mentor. Nothing but great things!!

Great location for live up and coming talent. The winter holiday spectacular show was beautiful. The children really impressed me with their skills especially for the age ranges. Puts me to shame lol. Please donate to this school if possible they can always use the funds for students growth and development.

My son has been taking lessons at this school for the past 2 years and he have learned so much. The teachers are dedicated to the students, their patient and so knowledgeable in regards to their music of specialty. I recommend this school for anyone who wants to learn music, whether your young or older.
