Craven Dance Studio is a dance school located in Canton, Ohio. Founded in 1984, the studio has become a premier destination for dance instruction in the United States. The studio is dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary.

History

Craven Dance Studio was founded in 1984 by the late Martha Craven. Martha was a passionate dancer and teacher who had a dream of creating a studio that would provide the highest quality dance instruction and create a community of dancers. She dedicated her life to teaching and sharing her love of dance with her students.

Martha’s passion for dance was passed down to her daughter, Susan, who took over the studio after her mother’s passing. Susan has continued to uphold the high standards that Martha set, and is dedicated to providing the best possible dance instruction for her students.

Mission

At Craven Dance Studio, our mission is to provide the highest quality dance instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. We strive to create a community of dancers who are passionate about their art and who are dedicated to their craft. We are committed to helping our students reach their fullest potential as dancers and as people.

Classes

Craven Dance Studio offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. Our classes are taught by highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential.

Events

In addition to our classes, Craven Dance Studio also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We host competitions, performances, and workshops designed to help our students hone their skills and showcase their talent.

Facilities

Craven Dance Studio is equipped with a state-of-the-art facility. Our facility includes three studios, each equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and barres. We also have a lounge area for our students to relax and socialize.

Schedule & Contact

Craven Dance Studio is open Monday through Thursday from 4-8:30 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM-12:30 PM. We are closed on Fridays and Sundays.
