History

Pennsylvania Classical Ballet from Easton was founded in 1994 by professional dancer and choreographer, Roberta D’Alessio. After a successful career as a dancer and choreographer, Roberta wanted to bring her knowledge and experience to the Lehigh Valley. She opened the company with the goal of providing a high-quality classical ballet program to the community.

Since its inception, the company has grown and expanded its repertoire to include a wide variety of classical and contemporary works. The company has performed in numerous venues throughout the region, including the State Theatre in Easton, the Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown, and the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in York.
