Silver Slippers Dance Academy is a premier dance school located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We offer a wide variety of dance classes for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for our students to learn the art of dance. We strive to create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for our students to grow and reach their full potential.

History

Silver Slippers Dance Academy was established in 2008 by former professional dancer, Ashley White. Ashley has been teaching dance for over 20 years and her passion for the art of dance is evident in the quality of instruction provided at Silver Slippers. Ashley’s goal is to provide a space for students to learn, grow, and express themselves through dance.

Classes

At Silver Slippers Dance Academy, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and ballroom. We also offer special classes for children such as musical theater, creative movement, and preschool dance. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who are dedicated to helping each student reach their dance goals.

Events

Silver Slippers Dance Academy is proud to host a variety of events throughout the year. Our events include recitals, competitions, and workshops. Our recitals offer students the opportunity to showcase their hard work and dedication to the art of dance. Our competitions give students the chance to compete against other dancers and showcase their skills. We also offer workshops for students to learn from guest instructors and broaden their knowledge of the dance world.

Facilities

Silver Slippers Dance Academy is proud to offer state-of-the-art facilities for our students. We have two large studios equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems. Our studios provide a safe and comfortable environment for our students to learn and practice their dance moves. We also have a lounge area with comfortable seating and a kitchen area for snacks and refreshments.

Silver Slippers Dance Academy is open Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Our classes are offered on a drop-in basis and we also offer private lessons for those who prefer one-on-one instruction.
