Volunteered here on a Friday night and I have to say I was impressed by the show that was put on. As a volunteer I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the ballet following the first act and it was impeccable. Joel,Melinda,Jess,Deborah, + the box office staff were so kind and helpful. They showed me around the facility and answered my questions as a new admirer of performing arts. This was quite the experience and I will surely be back again as long as I am a local native to Nashville.
Daughter absolutely loves it. She loves the attention she gets from her instructors and the chance to really try ballet in a serious studio, even for a 9 year old! This is her third year, first in the Academy. We all appreciate the guidelines they are following for covid related safety. Wonderful facility and staff. We are lucky to have such a reputable dance studio in Nashville. Well run and very communicative.
My daugther has been coming to Nashville Ballet for 6+ years and has loved it. The staff is great and she has had some great teachers. Depending on the level/age the prices are comparable to other schools. They also offer a children's division, an academy division, a professional division, adaptive dance classes, a young men's scholarship program, and community classes for the youth and adults.
I've recently started taking the community adult ballet classes and have rediscovered my love for dance. Eric Harris is an incredible teacher and I highly recommend his classes for anyone who has missed dancing but nervous to start up again. His classes are welcoming yet still highly technical. I've watched myself slowly getting better and better as I keep coming back.
