Best dance school in Jackson and surrounding areas! Even though our beloved Miss Pat recently passed away, the studio is still owned and operated by the family with caring loving teachers. I started classes here in 1986 and it is still going strong and expanding, adding new classes all the time including ballroom, African dance, dance fitness, and numerous other interesting types of dance in addition to ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop and acrobats. It's a special place for sure!!

Pat Brown School of Dancing is known around Jackson for being the best dance school! The teachers at PBSD genuinely love and care for their students. My girls have been dancing here for over 8 years and thoroughly enjoy all their classes. I know they are getting quality dance instruction in a wholesome and encouraging environment. They have met lifelong friends in their classes, and our family is grateful for the positive influence of this studio!

Our family has tried 3 other dance studios prior to Pat Brown. We finally started with PBSD and haven’t looked anywhere else. When it comes to technique, there is not comparison anywhere near Jackson. The dancers are so obviously cared about and the teachers not just teach great dancing, but also make sure the kids are building good character!

The instructors are so encouraging and have helped my kids learn to overcome their fears of not being able to do things easily. My daughters have fallen in love with dance. My sons have learned to strengthen their bodies in a new way. We love it.
