Introduction to Arts in Action

Arts in Action from Hurricane, West Virginia, is a dance school, art center, arts organization, art school, music school, performing arts theater, and special education school. Arts in Action is dedicated to providing quality education and resources to the community through the arts. We strive to foster creativity and self-expression in our students, while also helping them to develop their artistic talents. Our mission is to create a safe and inspiring environment where students can learn, explore, and grow.

Our History

Arts in Action was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate educators, artists, and community members who wanted to provide a place for people to explore and develop their artistic talents. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant and thriving organization that offers a wide range of classes and activities for all ages. Our classes and programs cover a variety of disciplines including dance, music, theater, visual arts, and more. We also offer special education classes and resources to help those with special needs.

Our Programs

Dance Classes

At Arts in Action, we offer a wide range of dance classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer special classes for those with special needs.

Music Classes

At Arts in Action, we offer music classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include piano, guitar, voice, and more. We also offer special classes for those with special needs.

Theater Classes

At Arts in Action, we offer theater classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include acting, improvisation, and more. We also offer special classes for those with special needs.

Visual Arts Classes

At Arts in Action, we offer visual arts classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. We also offer special classes for those with special needs.

Our Facilities

At Arts in Action, we have a variety of facilities to accommodate our students and programs. Our facilities include a dance studio, music studio, theater, and visual arts studio. We also have a library and computer lab for our students to use.
