The Dance Academy of Loudoun is a world-class dance school located in Purcellville, Virginia. The school offers a wide variety of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Ballroom. History

The Dance Academy of Loudoun was founded in 2014 by professional ballroom dancer and choreographer, Melissa Smith. Melissa has been teaching dance for over 20 years and has been a competitive ballroom dancer for over 10 years. She is a certified member of the National Dance Council of America and is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers Association.

Mission

The mission of the Dance Academy of Loudoun is to provide the highest quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. We strive to create a safe and positive learning environment that encourages creativity and personal growth. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of dance and to help our students reach their fullest potential.

Classes

The Dance Academy of Loudoun offers a variety of classes for students of all ages and abilities. We offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Ballroom. Our classes are designed to help students develop their technique, coordination, and musicality. We also offer private lessons for those who wish to focus on their individual goals.

Competitions

The Dance Academy of Loudoun also offers competitive teams for students who are interested in competing. Our competitive teams have earned numerous awards and accolades at local, regional, and national competitions. We are dedicated to helping our competitive teams reach their fullest potential and strive to provide them with the best resources and training available.
