I have been going to Shimmy Shimmy for a few years now. I have started with beginners classes and now regularly take pole flow and different workshops. It was fantastic to discover this studio after moving from Queens to Long Island. Heather (owner) created an amazing atmosphere: to dance, excel, get strong, feel empowered, and have fun while doing it. It's a unique studio with shows that you can be part of and perform for family and friends. It's great to be part of the Shimmy Shimmy community!

Finding Shimmy Shimmy is one of the best things that could've happened for me. I started taking classes in late 2020, just after the pandemic, looking for something new. I found everything I was looking or and more here. Heather is an amazing instructor and the atmosphere is great. The classes are challenging, fun, and everyone is so supportive of each other. I'm stronger and more in shape than I've ever been, and I'm even more confident outside of class too. I recommend this place to everyone!

This studio is great! Instructors create a welcoming and friendly environment. The studio has a wide variety of classes, all of which are physically challenging and rewarding. Such a great place to learn pole techniques in a safe manner. The studio is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The classes can be a light, or intense workout as there are different levels of technique provided to everyone. No matter the level, Shimmy Shimmy Dance Studio is a great place to achieve your fitness goals.

I first came to Shimmy Shimmy for a private lesson with friends. We had a great time. Heather, the owner, was kind, patient and knowledgeable. I had such a great experience that I decided to sign up for weekly classes. I’ve been attending classes at Shimmy Shimmy for over a year now. I notice my self getting stronger, accomplishing new tricks and having a great time while doing it. All the girls in class are so nice and help encourage each other. I highly recommend Shimmy Shimmy.
