My experience with Dr. Vera and LAAPA Mandeville has only been positive. I've taken private violin lessons most of my adult life, but I've never really enjoyed them. However, Dr. Vera and the LAAPA staff have changed that standard and set the bar so high. The highlight of my week was my lesson. Positive staff and positive energy. I am grateful to have met Dr. Vera, she has changed my outlook and experience and has made playing the violin something I truly enjoy again. Thank you!

My son, Andrew, went to LAAPA's Mandeville School of Music summer camp the past two summers, took drum lessons with Mr. KC for a year, and is now taking piano lessons with Mrs. Bethany. He has so much fun and can't wait to perform for his family at the Christmas Concert. The staff at LAAPA are all so nice. Andrew and his dad went to a Louisiana Philiharmonic Concert in New Orleans last weekend and he really enjoyed listening to the music. Here is a picture from that. 🙂

My 5-year-old has been taking piano lessons with Sean at Mandeville School of Music and Dance LAAPA for the past few months. We are so happy with Sean’s approach and enthusiasm when interacting with our son, and we are impressed with the progress our son has made in his time with Sean. Sean is patient, kind and encouraging and our son looks forward to his weekly lessons. I highly recommend Sean for anyone who wants to get his/her child started in piano lessons!

My 4 1/2 year old daughter just started pre-hip hop/acro classes with Ms. Maddie a few weeks ago. She absolutely LOVES it! Ms. Maddie is so sweet and patient with all of the kids, and you can tell that they’re all having a great time. I love that they had a non-ballet option for my incredibly active girl. The available hours were perfect for us, and the pricing is extremely reasonable. Also, the recital costume is modest!! So happy about that!
