Awesome place to come learn to dance whether it's salsa, kizmoba or even latin Hustle. Just recently attended their semiannual salsa event at the Brooklyn museum and boy what was it a way to kick off the year. The studio has a great family oriented vibe and is full of laughter at all times. And for those who know thing or 2 on the dance floor their socials' are one you don't want to miss. You should expect to be sleeping in the next day. Just saying from prior experience. Check it out!

I must say I would have never thought I would learn so much in such a little bit of time… Balmir is a great place for dancers to show off their skills, practice to become better, and execute emotion that is taught at Balmir… I have grown to love this place and the people here at Balmir.. Very big on staying humble and all about being comfortable in one's skin.. At this place of nuance and musicality your are able to improve, dance your life away, and have fun while doing so..

I am a professional ballroom dancer and a teacher for the past 35 years. These days a lot of dance studios got shut down, so I was looking and looking in Brooklyn for the place to teach and was not successful till I ran into a friend of mine who gave me an information of Balmir Dance Society studio. I am very grateful for Jessica and her studio! I felt alive today after teaching my first lesson after 8 months of being locked up since the quarantine started.

Excellent place to learn to dance and have fun doing it…the teachers are very knowledgeable and down to earth…never a dull moment in class…the atmosphere is wonderful, and people just seem to be happy and having fun all of the time…that's just in the classes…the parties are on a whole other level!! The staff and dancers at Balmir really know how to have a great time. If you're looking for a place to dance in brooklyn, Balmir is definitely for you
