My wife and I love staying at the Berkeley City Club! Great location makes it easy to walk the streets of Berkeley for great food and entertainment. Spencer at the front desk is very knowledgeable about the area and super friendly if you need anything extra for your room. I honestly can't see myself staying anywhere else in the East Bay.
Classy place. The architecture is beautiful and there’s a lot going on like bridge! Centrally located in Berkeley right near campus. I stayed for a friends wedding and we had a lovely time. Staff was all very friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful building and nice room! We came during an unusual heat wave and the lack of AC was a bit tough but otherwise a nice stay. The parking was very convenient.
The building is very old but well kept. Do NOT expect a modern hotel room, but a modernized 40's hotel room. A very pleasant experiance.
