Brass City Ballet was founded in 2013 by Artistic Director, Rebecca Breslin. Breslin has been teaching and performing for over 30 years. She has been a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and the American Ballet Theater. Breslin has also choreographed for various shows and events.
Since its founding, Brass City Ballet has become a well-known and respected dance school in the Middlebury area. The school has a strong focus on technique and artistry, and provides a safe and supportive environment for its students.
At Brass City Ballet, we believe that dance is an art form that should be accessible to everyone. We strive to create an environment where all students, regardless of age or experience level, can learn and grow. We value each student’s individual creativity and strive to foster it.

Brass City Ballet offers a variety of performance opportunities for its students. We have an annual recital that features the work of our students. We also have a competition team that competes in local and regional competitions.
