The Greater Lansing Academy of Dance (GLAD) is a professional dance school located in Lansing, Michigan. Founded in 1987, GLAD is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction and performance for all ages and abilities. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our students, teachers, and staff.

Our Mission

At GLAD, our mission is to provide quality dance education and performance opportunities to our students. We strive to foster a love of dance and to promote a healthy lifestyle through movement. We also strive to create a community of artists and performers who are dedicated to the development and advancement of dance.

Our Programs

GLAD offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes range from beginner to pre-professional levels, and include a wide range of styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and more. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students, including our annual recital and other performance opportunities throughout the year.

At GLAD, our faculty is comprised of experienced and highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction. Our faculty members are passionate about their work and strive to create a positive and encouraging environment for our students.

Our Facilities

GLAD is located in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility in Lansing, Michigan. Our facility features three large dance studios, a spacious lobby, and a dressing room. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and barres to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students.
