Jose Luis and Karibe are the best for me. When I lived in Albany NY before moving to Miami, the moves and structures they taught helped me teach beginner salsa in Albany (hobby, I am an attorney). They are a family, and I love the attention they pay not only to the turns, but also the focus on the tumbao, without which people can look like robots. They are caring about your progress and lots of fun.
Great salsa classes! Adriana and Jose Luis are incredibly welcoming and make Karibe such a joyful place to learn. I’ve been taking classes for three years, and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in dancing. Jose’s classes, in particular, are outstanding—he’s very pedagogical and pays close attention to the small details and movements that help improve our dancing every day.
José Luís and Adriana were absolutely amazing in helping making our choreographed wedding dance look like dancing with the stars! Not only were the lessons so easy even I, someone who until now thought learning how to dance was impossible, but were funny and attentive and made the whole experience enjoyable!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
The studio is beautiful. The owners are skilled and friendly. There's parking. The socials are super fun. 100% recommend.
