The Academy of Classical & Contemporary Dance from Chesapeake (ACCD) is a premier dance school located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Founded in 1992, the school has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels for over 25 years. The school offers a variety of classes, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, and more.

At ACCD, our mission is to provide quality dance instruction in a nurturing and supportive environment. We strive to create a learning environment that is both enjoyable and educational, and to provide our students with the necessary tools to achieve their individual goals.

Our Classes

At ACCD, we offer classes for students of all ages and levels. Our classes are designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, and to help our students reach their individual goals. We have classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced dancers, as well as classes for those who are just starting out.

Ballet

ACCD offers a variety of ballet classes for students of all ages and levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and focus on both technique and artistry. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their technique, as well as to develop their own unique style.

Jazz

At ACCD, we offer a variety of jazz classes for students of all ages and levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and focus on both technique and artistry. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their technique, as well as to develop their own unique style.

Hip Hop

At ACCD, we have a dedicated and experienced staff of instructors and choreographers. Our instructors are highly trained professionals who are passionate about teaching and helping our students reach their goals. Our instructors are committed to providing our students with the best possible experience, and to helping them become the best dancers they can be.

Our Facilities

At ACCD, we have a state-of-the-art facility that is designed to provide our students with the best possible learning experience. Our facility includes two large studios, a viewing area, and a lounge area. Our studios are equipped with the latest audio and video technology, and our viewing area allows our students to watch their progress and observe their peers.
