My husband and I scheduled some private lessons at this studio to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. I had been here a few times before for swing night, but it was my husbands first time taking a dance class. The instructor we got paired with, Yoshi, was wonderful! She really took the time to patiently explain all of the steps and made it super simple to learn! Our first dance was beautiful and my husband and I had a great time learning some new moves. First time at Fat Cats today and it was so worth my drive! It was a big dance for as well as a great group of people. I worked with two teachers, one for the first hour and one for the second hour. Very, very knowledgeable, fun and easy to work with. I had done ballroom in the past but because of the pandemic it has been a couple of years since I got to dance. I felt very comfortable here and fell right back into how much fun, and how much I love dancing! I highly recommend the studio!

My fiance and I met at Fat Cats over five years ago so we are obviously fans of the place. But we both were attending classes there for years before then. And we love the place. It's really the only down to earth, affordable dance studio around. It's a welcoming member of the community. And our favorite dance teacher of ALL time teaches private lessons there – Marie Burson! She is hands down the best value in the valley!!! And she makes learning FUN!

My husband & I have been learning so many different dances here over the past couple of years. We haven't taken private lessons but the group lessons every night of the week are awesome! First rate instructors and very "learn at your own pace, non-threatening" atmosphere". You can switch partners or stay with one partner. On Sunday afternoons. they even offer 2 hours of free classes! Fatcat Ballroom is the greatest!
