Primarily Tango and Swing but others as well at the Bennington Club. Instructors and Performers include Barbara Roan, Danny Michaelson, Dario da Silva and Kathy & Bob Brawer. The music will be a combination of live and DJ. Singers include Evita Cobo, Kerry Ryer-Parke, Shanti Mayer and Celia Twomey. The Bob Shepherd Trio is featured. Tickets are available at The Bennington Bookshop or Wild Oats Food Co-op in Williamstown. Creative costumes are appreciated. Teachers Barbara Roan and Danny Michaelson will instruct from Swing to Tango to Square Dance. A cash bar will be available. For information, call Barbara at 802-823-5510. Barbara Roan and Danny Michaelson are planning a series of events called the Bennington Ballroom. These events will be held around the Bennington area at various venues and will provide people the opportunity to dine, dance and receive informal dance instruction. While the emphasis will be on swing, there will be lessons in any style of ballroom, such as foxtrot, cha cha, mambo, waltz or tango.
