Volusia Academy of Gymnastics & Dance is a gymnastics center and dance school located in Lake Helen, Florida. Founded in 1989, the Academy has been providing quality instruction in gymnastics and dance for over 30 years. The Academy offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience. Classes include gymnastics, tumbling, ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and more. The Academy also offers competitive teams, camps, birthday parties, and private lessons.

Mission Statement

At Volusia Academy of Gymnastics & Dance, our mission is to provide quality instruction in gymnastics and dance in a safe and fun environment. We strive to promote physical fitness, build self-confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

History

Volusia Academy of Gymnastics & Dance was founded in 1989 by husband and wife team, Bob and Gail Sefcik. The Sefciks had been teaching gymnastics and dance in the area for several years, and decided to open their own academy. Since then, the Academy has grown to become one of the premier gymnastics and dance centers in the area.

Volusia Academy of Gymnastics & Dance offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience. Classes include gymnastics, tumbling, ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and more. The Academy also offers competitive teams, camps, birthday parties, and private lessons.

Facilities

Volusia Academy of Gymnastics & Dance is located in Lake Helen, Florida, and is conveniently located near major highways. The facility features two large gymnastics and dance studios, a trampoline room, and a parent lounge. The Academy also has a full line of gymnastics and dance equipment, including trampolines, balance beams, and more.

Instructors

The Academy is staffed by a team of experienced and qualified instructors. All instructors are certified in their respective disciplines, and have years of experience teaching gymnastics and dance. The instructors strive to create a safe and encouraging environment for all students.
