History

Suibukan of West Virginia was founded in 2003 by Sensei Robert Johnson. Sensei Johnson is a 6th dan black belt in Suibukan, a martial arts style developed in Japan in the 1970s. Sensei Johnson has been teaching martial arts for over 40 years, and has trained numerous students in Suibukan. In 2017, Sensei Johnson opened the Suibukan of West Virginia school in Mt Clare.

Classes

Suibukan of West Virginia offers a variety of martial arts classes for all ages and skill levels. Classes include basic Suibukan, advanced Suibukan, self-defense, and fitness classes. The school also offers special classes for children and teens, as well as private lessons. All classes are taught by experienced instructors, and all students are welcome to join.

Facilities

Suibukan of West Virginia has a large training facility located at Oakridge Estates Road in Mt Clare. The facility includes a large training mat, a weight room, and a fitness center. The school also has a store where students can purchase uniforms, training gear, and other martial arts supplies.
