History

SALVATORE LARUSSA DANCE THEATRE STUDIO was founded by Salvatore Larussa, a renowned dancer and choreographer. Salvatore had an extensive career in the dance world, having performed on Broadway, in film and television, and in regional and international tours. He was also a renowned teacher, having taught at some of the most prestigious schools in the world. Salvatore wanted to create a school that would provide the highest quality of dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities.

In 1978, Salvatore opened SALVATORE LARUSSA DANCE THEATRE STUDIO in Queens, New York. Since then, the school has grown and expanded to offer a variety of classes in different styles of dance, from ballet to hip hop. The school is dedicated to providing students with the highest quality of dance instruction in the country.
