The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts was founded in 1996 by professional dancer and choreographer, Rachelle Davis. Rachelle has been teaching dance for over 25 years and has been a part of the Salem community for many years. She has a passion for teaching and is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels.

Faculty and Staff

The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts has a highly experienced and dedicated faculty and staff. All of the instructors are certified and experienced in their respective dance styles. The faculty and staff are passionate about teaching and strive to create a safe and fun learning environment for all of their students.

Programs

The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts offers a variety of programs for students of all ages and levels. These programs include:

• Ballet: Ballet classes are offered for students ages 3 and up. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of ballet technique and help students develop strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Jazz: Jazz classes are offered for students ages 6 and up. Classes are designed to teach the basics of jazz technique and help students develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
• Tap: Tap classes are offered for students ages 6 and up. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of tap technique and help students develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
• Hip-Hop: Hip-hop classes are offered for students ages 8 and up. Classes are designed to teach the basics of hip-hop technique and help students develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
• Contemporary: Contemporary classes are offered for students ages 8 and up. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of contemporary technique and help students develop strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Competition Team: The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts offers a competitive team for students ages 6 and up. The team competes in local and national competitions and performs at various events throughout the year.

The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts hosts a variety of events and performances throughout the year. These events and performances include:

• Recitals: The Premiere Academy of Performing Arts hosts a yearly recital for all of its students. The recital is a great way for students to show off their hard work and progress.
