Kentucky Power Tumbling was founded in 1999 by husband and wife team, Joe and Mary Smith. The Smiths had a passion for tumbling and acrobatics and wanted to share their enthusiasm with the Allen City community. They opened the center with the goal of providing a safe and supportive environment for children and adults to learn and practice tumbling and acrobatics.

Since then, the center has grown to become one of the most popular gymnastics centers in the area. The Smiths have dedicated their lives to teaching tumbling and acrobatics to the Allen City community. They have trained many students who have gone on to compete in national and international competitions.
