International Academy of Dance

The International Academy of Dance (IAD) is a premier dance school located in Santa Cruz, California. Founded in 1995, IAD has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels for over 25 years. Our mission is to foster a love of dance through quality instruction, performance opportunities, and creative exploration.

Classes and Programs

IAD offers a wide range of classes and programs for students of all ages and levels. Our classes and programs include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and more. We also offer specialty classes such as Pre-Professional Training and Performance Ensembles.

Faculty

Our faculty consists of professional dancers, choreographers, and teachers. Our teachers have extensive experience in teaching and performing, and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of dance. We strive to maintain a positive and encouraging environment for our students and faculty.

Performances

IAD offers a variety of performance opportunities for our students. We have an annual student showcase in which our students can showcase their skills and talents. We also offer performance opportunities at local and regional events.

Community

IAD is committed to fostering a strong sense of community among our students, faculty, and families. We host a variety of social events throughout the year, such as potlucks, movie nights, and holiday parties. We also offer parent workshops, student workshops, and other community events.

IAD is located in Santa Cruz, California, at 320 Encinal Street. We are conveniently located near a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
