Columbus High School is a public high school located in Columbus, Montana. Founded in 1883, Columbus High School is the oldest high school in Montana. It is part of the Columbus Public School District and is accredited by the Montana Office of Public Instruction.

Columbus High School has a rich tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. Our students are encouraged to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives. Our staff is dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

Academics

At Columbus High School, we are committed to providing our students with a quality education. We offer a variety of courses and programs to meet the needs of our diverse student body. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and engage our students. We strive to provide our students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in college and in their future careers.

We offer a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses and college-level classes. We also offer a variety of electives to meet the interests and needs of our students. Our teachers are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

Athletics

Columbus High School is committed to providing our students with a variety of athletic opportunities. Our teams compete in the Montana High School Association (MHSA) and the Greater Yellowstone Conference (GYC). Our teams have a long history of success, including numerous state championships.

Our athletic teams are committed to providing our students with a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow. Our coaches are dedicated to helping our student-athletes reach their full potential.

The Arts

At Columbus High School, we believe that the arts are an important part of a well-rounded education. We offer a variety of classes and programs to meet the interests and needs of our students. Our classes include art, music, theater, and dance.

We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as our student-run theater program and our award-winning dance team. Our students have the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts.

Community Involvement

At Columbus High School, we believe in giving back to our community. We are committed to helping our students become active and engaged citizens. We offer a variety of community service opportunities for our students to get involved in. Our students have the opportunity to make a difference in their community.

We also host a variety of events throughout the year to bring our community together. Our events include sports tournaments, art shows, and community service projects. We strive to create a sense of community and belonging at Columbus High School.
