Bharat Natyam (Nashville) was founded in 2000 by Indian-American dancer and choreographer, Praveen Kumar. Praveen wanted to create a space where dancers of all ages and backgrounds could come together to learn and share their love of dance. Since then, Bharat Natyam (Nashville) has grown to become one of the premier dance schools in the Nashville area, offering classes in a variety of dance styles, from Indian classical to modern American.

Classes and Programs

Bharat Natyam (Nashville) offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and we offer classes in a variety of dance styles, from traditional Indian to modern American. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and workshops.

For children, we offer classes in Indian classical and folk dances, as well as modern American dance styles. We also offer classes for adults, including Bollywood dance, Latin dance, and hip-hop.
