The Altered Productions Institute (API) is a performing arts group from Clarksburg, West Virginia. Founded in 2002, API is dedicated to creating and promoting the art of dance in the United States.
API’s mission is to promote the art of dance and to make it accessible to everyone. Through its classes, workshops, and performances, API seeks to educate, inspire, and entertain audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
API offers a wide range of classes and workshops for all levels of dancers. From beginner to advanced, API has something for everyone. Classes include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and more. API also offers workshops and master classes in a variety of dance styles.
API produces performances throughout the year, including the annual Spring and Fall Dance Concerts. These performances feature a variety of dance styles and feature professional and student dancers.
API is committed to making the art of dance accessible to everyone. Through its community outreach programs, API provides free dance classes to underserved communities.
