Underground Ballroom

Underground Ballroom was founded to provide a fresh new dance experience for the ballroom community and give new dancers and folks from other local dance communities a chance to come out and see what ballroom is all about. We're keeping it cozy, club-style, and energetic, and we're going out of our way to make sure the music is contemporary and fun. Dress casually, and expect the selection to be heavy in dances like Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing and all its variants, Hustle, Salsa, Merengue, Slow Dance, Argentine Tango, etc... The traditional ballroom dances (Foxtrot, Waltz, Quickstep, etc.) may make an occasional appearance, but for everyone's comfort and safety, they'll be kept to a minimum.

First & third Saturday at the The Fuze Box, admission includes a beginners' class lesson from 7:40-8:00 followed by dancing until10:00. Underground Ballroom attendees are invited to stay free for the Fuze Box's celebrated 80's night, starting at 10:00! For more information Blaise Hartley or call 518-274-6859.
