About Downtown Dance Factory

Downtown Dance Factory is a professional dance school located in the heart of New York City. Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our students to learn and grow in the art of dance. We offer classes in a variety of genres, from ballet and jazz to hip-hop and contemporary. We also offer private lessons and workshops for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced.

Our staff of experienced and certified instructors is dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential. We provide a positive and encouraging atmosphere, and our classes are designed to be fun and challenging. We strive to create a supportive community of dancers who share a passion for the art of dance.

Our Facilities

Downtown Dance Factory is located in the historic 291 Broadway building. Our facility features three spacious studios with sprung floors, full-length mirrors, and sound systems. Our studios are equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, and our instructors use the latest teaching methods and technology.

We also offer a variety of amenities for our students, including a full-service cafe, a lounge area, and a retail store. Our store carries a wide selection of dancewear, shoes, and accessories.

Classes and Workshops

Downtown Dance Factory is open Monday – Friday from 3-9 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM – 3:45 PM. We are closed on Sunday.
