Paul and Louise Giuliano began their love affair with dancing at the ripe ages of 45 and 50. It was their 25th wedding anniversary, and they decided to use a coupon clipped from the Yellow Pages to take advantage of a special at a local dance studio. After one lesson, they were hooked! Only months after they began, they were persuaded to attend a dance competition in Atlantic City where they competed in four dances and received top awards in all four.
Nine years later, and five years after starting to compete in USABDA amateur dancesport competitions, they captured two U.S. titles—Senior Latin and Senior Ten Dance—at the 2004 National DanceSport Championships in St. Paul, MN. Shortly thereafter, they went to Belgium to compete in the 2004 World Senior Latin Championships as one of two couples representing the United States.
In 2007 they did it again! Senior Amateur Ten-dance and Latin American Champions, and they came in fourth in the Standard class.
They continue to train and compete at the regional and national levels in both Latin and Standard dances, and hope to keep dancing until their bodies cannot take it any longer!
In addition to dancing, Louise finds time for BallroomGifts.com - "Exclusive Gifts from Around the World for Dancers' Health & Beauty"
