Friday Salsa and Latin DancingThese dances are where friends and families meet and enjoy good conversation, dance, and can hear the best mix of Salsa and other Latin rhythms by DJ Chico. Our guests are mostly ballroom dancers, and we play other ballroom dance music upon request. A cash bar is available on the premises. When there is a special dance, such as our Halloween costume party, we do give prizes - which may include CD's, gift certificate, and free passes. These dances are preceded by various lessons. The lessons are normally not included in the price of admission, but they sometime are. See the status line below for the amount of lesson time included. There is no age limit for these dances. College and high-school students are welcome. For some additional information, check theSunday Ballroom DancingThese dances fill a need for ballroom instruction for mature audience ≈50+. Dancing is good for your body and soul! If you are looking for a fun way to listen to music, energize your body, and stimulate your brain then consider ballroom dancing at the American Legion. These dances will normally take place on the first and third Sunday of each month playing foxtrot, waltz, swing, two step, tango, and Latin music. No partner is needed, but bring your husbands, wives, friends and neighbors...A fun time guaranteed. Every day 0ver 10.000 baby boomers are retiring. I have been dancing ballroom and Latin since 1998 and I love to bring people into our dance community to experience the many benefits of social dancing. - Meli Morash
